The long-awaited premiere of HBO’s “The Idol” is lastly right here and its stars and company are making their very own rise to fame on the Cannes purple carpet for the event. The drama collection, which has been shrouded in controversy amid accusations of a chaotic manufacturing stuffed with reshoots, follows pop star Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp), who’s lured to the darkish aspect of the leisure business by mysterious nightclub proprietor Tedros (Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye).
