In a press release sent on Thursday, May 25th, 2023, Marvel Comics announced Infinity Comic series Alligator Loki by Alyssa Wong, Bob Quinn, and Pete Pantazis and edited by Kat Gregorowicz will receive a print release. Scheduled to arrive at your Local Comic Shop on September 13th, 2023, the comic features no dialogue, plenty of super heroic cameos, and lots of Alligator Loki shenanigans.
Alligator Loki #1
Alligator Loki made his debut in the final moments of the fourth episode of the Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series Loki, “The Nexus Event.” The diminutive Loki Variant was an instant favorite among True Believers, and it goes without saying that the merchandising opportunities he afforded were numerous.
The first episode of the Alligator Loki Infinity Comic series arrived on Marvel Unlimited on March 11th, 2022. Since then, the series has released 24 episodes, with the latest having been released just under a month ago, on April 27th, 2023.
In a quote included in the press release, Wong said: “Alligator Loki’s been living in my head rent-free for the past year. It’s been a ton of fun working with Quinn, Pantazis, and Gregorowicz to bring him to life in the Infinity comic. I’m thrilled that this little guy’s shenanigans are coming to print!”
