Melissa Gorga addressed Margaret Josephs’ claim her son was threatened by Luis Ruelas at work. She also seemingly threw major shade at her nieces — the daughters of Luis’ wife Teresa Giudice.
On the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, Margaret claimed Luis threatened her son at work in a phone call. Though she allegedly had proof Luis called him, the nature of their purported conversation is unknown, and Margaret is thus far the only public ‘source’ of what happened. During the taping, the cast also discussed the accusation that Luis hired a private investigator to find information on all his co-stars.
In an audio clip shared by @allrhonjfacts on Instagram, Melissa commented on Margaret’s allegation that her son was threatened by Luis.
“Margaret’s son is not someone who would make this up,” said Melissa, who then seemingly threw shade at her own nieces, who are often featured in confessional interviews.
“He’s not a drama kid. He’s not one of the ones who are on our show, dolled up in confessionals, talking s**t. He is not [that kind of] kid,” said the On Display podcast host.
Melissa then added, “He doesn’t even want anything to do with the show.”
The statement appears to be directed at her nieces, who have been a part of the show since season one. In an earlier episode this season, Melissa blasted Teresa for allegedly speaking negatively about her own niece, Melissa’s daughter Antonia.
“You be that aunt, I’m not gonna be that aunt,” declared Melissa at the time.
