The long-rumored Detective Pikachu Returns, a sequel to the original Detective Pikachu game in the Pokémon franchise, has been confirmed by Nintendo, and it will arrive later this year. Detective Pikachu is a game in which players, accompanied by a talking Pikachu, have to explore Ryme City and uncover what is leading mysterious events.
The new Detective Pikachu Returns game was confirmed during the Nintendo Direct event broadcast on the official Nintendo of America channel on YouTube. The title will be released on October 6 for Nintendo Switch.
