Kristen Bell’s daughters are casual drinkers??
On Monday, the Frozen voice actress stopped by The Kelly Clarkson Show, where the two compared stories about motherhood, trips to Disneyland, and their underage children drinking?! While discussing Club 33, the “super exclusive” restaurant within Disneyland that “serves alcohol,” Kristen asked the talk show host, “You don’t let your children drink, do you?” Kelly quickly said no, but did recall a time when her daughter sneakily grabbed a glass of champagne as a baby and had “a tiny bit.”
That, of course, is not a mainstay in the Clarkson household, but the Bell household is a different story.

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star admitted:
“My kids have ordered non-alcoholic beers at restaurants before.”
Sorry, WHAT?
She acknowledged it “sounds insane,” but reassured that “context is important” before spilling on the backstory of how her kiddos even came to discover what a non-alcoholic beer is — and it has to do with daddy Dax Shepard:
“So, like, my husband and I, when we walked the babies at night in our neighborhood when my daughter was really little, [Dax] is a recovering addict but he likes non-alcoholic beers so he’d pop one open, he’d have her on his chest and we’d walk and, like, look at the sunset.”
The 43-year-old continued:
“As a baby, she was, like, pawing [at the non-alcoholic beer] and sometimes she would suck on the rim of it, so I think to her, it feels like something special, something daddy, something family, and there’s no alcohol in it.”
Certainly inneresting. To each their own!

The momma of two then circled back to the idea that her daughters have asked for the beverage at restaurants, explaining:
“So we’ve been at restaurants where she’s been like, ‘Do you have any non-alcoholic beers?’ And I’m like, ‘Maybe we just keep that for home.’”
However, she definitely doesn’t care if you don’t approve! The Veronica Mars actress added:
“You can judge me if you want, I’m not doing anything wrong.”

Everyone definitely has their own way of parenting — and we know Kristen is no stranger to addressing the “hard topics.” She revealed to Real Simple back in February:
“I talk to my kids about drugs, and the fact that their daddy is an addict and he’s in recovery, and we talk about sex. There are all these ‘hard topics’ that don’t have to be if you give the person on the other end your vulnerability and a little bit of credit.”
