Last week it was revealed that the popular horror game Dead By Daylight was getting an Alien crossover. We’ve got a new trailer to share with you today from Behaviour Interactive that reveals Ellen Ripley and the Xenomorph will be playable characters!
The trailer shows Ripley waking up from Hypersleep, and as she gets up to see what’s going on, she sees that she’s crash-landed on a mysterious planet. We also see that the Nostromo ship wreckage is the setting of the game, and while exploring that she sees comes across some nightmarish horrors and comes face to face with a killer Xenomorph.
Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Behaviour Interactive stated: “Alien has been and continues to be one of the best sci-fi stories ever told — and to be able to collaborate with 20th Century Games on bringing this story into Dead by Daylight is a privilege for all of us at Behaviour Interactive.”
I love that Ripley is a playable character! Now, she doesn’t look like Sigourney Weaver, but this is the version of the character we’re getting for the game. I don’t think fans will complain… or will they?
Dead By Daylight: Alien will release on August 29.
