Kathryn Dennis took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to share a series of images of herself with her two kids, including daughter Kensington, 9, and son Saint Julien, 7.
Days after her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Ravenel, 61, who was awarded full custody of the children earlier this year, called her out for not seeing them for 11 weeks, the Southern Charm alum, 32, seemingly admitted that she’s been without them for some time.
At the end of last week, as he chatted with his fans and followers on Twitter, Thomas first offered an update on where he stands with his former Southern Charm co-stars.
“Thomas are you still in touch with other cast members?” someone asked.
“No, I had kids and moved to Aiken,” he responded. “Sometimes when I’m in Charleston, I’ll meet up with [Whitney Sudler-Smith, 55] and go out for dinner and drinks or stay at his house and listen to him shred one of his beautiful electric guitars. He’s a phenomenal guitarist. The others are like a generation younger than me. Even [Shep Rose, 43] is 17 years my junior.”
He then reacted to a Twitter user who asked about Kathryn.
“How is [Kathryn Dennis] doing? I’ve heard she has had some rough times recently and I really wish she were on the new season. Any update you can give would be appreciated. I hopefully assume she still spends time with your children,” the person had written.
“I wish she would,” Thomas replied. “She hasn’t seen them in 11 weeks.”
Days after Thomas’ claim was posted, Kathryn seemed to confirm the news as she shared what appeared to be a throwback photo of herself, Kensington, and Saint Julien, bowling together.
“When I am with you I feel so alive again..even when you can’t see me or hear me I am always thinking of you..know that our love connects us by an invisible string, always,” Kathryn wrote with the September 6 post. “I know that we will make it through these tough times and they won’t last forever … Sending strength to all of the [co-parents] out there. No matter the situation being without your children is the most difficult pain you must carry each and every day you are without them. It’s so unnatural and such a [drawn-out] devastation. We need each [other’s] love and support—here’s to hope for the future.”
After being awarded full custody of Kensington and Saint Julien months ago, Thomas confirmed the news with a statement, explaining his supervised visitation arrangement with Kathryn.
“I was awarded sole custody,” Thomas confirmed to All About the Tea on May 1. “I make all the parenting decisions. Kathryn [Dennis] has the right to supervised visitation by an approved supervisor [approved by the court] between the hours of 9:00am — 7:00pm, every other weekend.”
Meanwhile, on her Instagram page, Kathryn seemingly responded to the ruling with a cryptic post that featured a screenshot of Starz series Gaslit.
Since then, Kathryn has shared just a couple of images of her family, the latest of which was posted 11 weeks ago.
“Happy Fathers Day everyone,” she captioned a pic of Thomas and their kids. “I am so grateful for my Father and for the Father of my children. I feel like it’s important to honor my [co-parent] because I am grateful for the gift of our two precious humans above all else and no matter the noise.”
