Quiver Distribution has released a trailer for a new inspirational basketball movie titled Warrior Strong, and if you enjoy watching sports dramas this is one you might be interested in checking out.
Warrior Strong follows Bilal Irving (Jordan Johnson-Hinds), “a professional basketball player returning to his small, Northern Ontario town of Dumont. He re-connects with his former coach, and conflict ensues as they both struggle to put their egos and complicated pasts aside to mentor the town’s only basketball team.”
The movie looks like a decent sports movie and it has some strong Mighty Ducks vibes. It could be good! The film was directed by Shane Belcourt and it also stars Andrew Dice Clay, Sarah Podemski, Stephen Kalyn, Julian Young, and Macaulee Cassaday.
Warrior Strong will be released in theaters and on VOD starting on September 29th, 2023.
