Are Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Dating?

It looks like Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen doesn’t love the attention he’s been receiving about his rumored relationship with Hailee Steinfeld. The pair were spotted kissing over the Fourth of July weekend in photographs published by TMZ on July 7, which showed Steinfeld and Allen kissing and packing on the PDA in a resort pool while vacationing together in Mexico. Reps for Steinfeld did not respond to POPSUGAR’s request for confirmation of her and Allen’s relationship status, while reps for Allen could not be reached.

In an Aug. 2 interview on the podcast “Pardon My Take,” though, when asked if he’d seen the headlines about the photos, Allen didn’t seem too keen on opening up. “The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind,” he said. He went on to say that photographers’ efforts to capture photos of him and Steinfeld during that vacation gave him a “gross feeling,” creating a sense of “insecurity” for them.

Rumors that the “Hawkeye” star and football player were dating initially began in May after the pair were spotted together in New York City on multiple occasions on Memorial Day weekend. Steinfeld and Allen were first spotted in NYC on May 27 in photos obtained by People. Two days later, they were snapped in photos while out on what appeared to be a double date. According to a May 29 People report, a source close to Steinfeld said the “cute couple” have been “hanging out for a few weeks” and noted that the relationship is “new, but they are having fun.”

In June, a source told People that the pair were “still dating and getting to know each other.” “He’s going to be very busy with training camp, though, so they’re not putting too much pressure on things and will see where it goes,” the source added.

Allen seemingly split from his previous girlfriend of five years, Brittany Williams, sometime in 2023. In a since-expired Instagram Story posted in early May by one of Williams’s friends, Karlee Zacky, she captioned a photo of herself and Williams, “Now accepting husband applications @brittwilll.”

While Steinfeld tends to keep her romantic relationships close to the chest, she’s been linked to Niall Horan and Cameron Smoller over the years.
