The family of one of the victims killed in a fiery car crash in Los Angeles last year has filed a lawsuit against Nicole Linton, a traveling nurse from Houston who is facing murder charges in connection to the incident. “Defendants, and each of them, should have never hired Nicole Lorraine Linton, and/or should have immediately reported her troubling behavior to the California Board of Nursing and should have taken other actions to protect the public from the foreseeable dangers she posed to the citizens of Los Angeles, California while working for the West Los Angeles Kaiser Medical Center,” the court docs reveal, per Law & Crime.
Another family had previously filed a similar lawsuit, further highlighting the gravity of Linton’s actions and the clear need for accountability. Linton has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently in jail awaiting trial.
