Jersey Club music is on a meteoric rise, and at the forefront of this movement is none other than the genre’s Global Ambassador, DJ Sliink. With his new EP, “Bricks To The 6,” he not only showcases his signature sound but also pushes the boundaries of the genre by blending it with the melodic stylings of Toronto’s SAFE, as well as collaborating with heavy-hitting East Coast talents Bandmanrill and Sha EK. This EP, with its infectious beats and cross-cultural influences, has not only earned critical acclaim but also solidified DJ Sliink’s position as a pioneering figure in the world of electronic music.

The EP kicks off with the lead single, “Warrior,” accompanied by an electrifying music video starring DJ Sliink and SAFE. The video adds an extra layer of visual storytelling to the music, enhancing the overall experience for fans. “Warrior” not only captures the essence of the EP but also sets the tone for what’s to come.

One of the standout tracks, “Real Hips II,” made an impressive debut by landing at #2 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Digital Songs Sales Chart. The song received accolades from respected publications such as XXL, Stereogum, and Brooklyn Vegan. Another track, “In The Night,” earned a coveted spot on The Fader’s “Song You Need In Your Life” playlist, as well as playlist support from Spotify’s “New Music Friday Dance” and “Jersey Club Heat,” along with Apple Music’s “New In Dance.”

The EP also features “On Bro” (ft. Bandmanrill) and “Jiggiest In Jersey” (ft. Sha EK & Bandmanrill), further showcasing DJ Sliink’s versatility as a producer and his ability to collaborate seamlessly with a diverse range of artists.

Live Performances and Future Plans DJ Sliink’s influence extends far beyond the studio. He recently graced the stage at MoMa PS1’s Warm Up 2023, leaving fans in awe with his electrifying performance. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as he’s set to spin at Coco and Breezy’s NYFW Event on September 9 and take the helm as the music director for Laquan Smith’s NYFW Show on September 11. Fans on the West Coast can also catch DJ Sliink live on September 24 at the Pangea Party in Los Angeles, with more announcements on the horizon.

This EP not only pushes the boundaries of Jersey Club but also showcases the power of collaboration and cross-cultural influence in the music industry.
