Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga have yet to film with one another for the upcoming 14th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Following their latest falling out amid season 13, which saw Melissa, 44, and Joe Gorga skipping the wedding of Teresa, 51, and Luis Ruelas, 48, an insider claims Teresa is refusing to film with her sister-in-law as her co-star, Jackie Goldschneider, 46, feuds with Rachel Fuda, 32.
As shared by All About the Real Housewives on Instagram, Jackie and Rachel appeared to have had a falling out of their own amid a recent group lunch event with their castmates, which concluded with Jackie choosing to unfollow the season 13 newbie on Instagram.
But while Jackie may have unfollowed Rachel, Rachel did not unfollow her.
While fans will likely see exactly what played out between Jackie and Rachel in the new season, it doesn’t seem that there will be much playing out between Teresa and Melissa. After all, as a recent report explained, Teresa wants nothing to do with Melissa.
“Melissa is open to filming and talking with Teresa on camera, but Teresa is not,” an insider told Us Weekly on September 8. “Producers are trying to capture other stories.”
During the annual charity softball game thrown by Dolores Catania, 52, last month, Teresa and Melissa weren’t seen together at all, despite the event being attended by the full cast.
“Melissa and Teresa still didn’t speak to each other,” an insider shared. “The rest of the cast was working overtime to go back and forth to talk to both of them and have different conversations with each of them.”
And while Teresa and Melissa have feuded for years on the show, they have since decided to leave their drama in the past, forcing producers to focus their attention elsewhere.
“They’re moving on,” the source explained. “They aren’t hyper-fixating on Melissa and Teresa. There has to be other dynamics included in the show.”
The insider went on to say that after Teresa declared she’s done with the Gorgas at last season’s reunion, she “seems to be keeping her word.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2024.
