There is no release date for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as there are no plans to make one. The critically acclaimed comedy-drama series has come to an end after a run of five seasons.
This is because the creators of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Amazon Studios had been planning for over a year to end the story in the show’s fifth season. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the showrunners Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino revealed that they always knew Midge Maisel’s story would eventually end but did not necessarily plan for a five-season story arc for her and that the conclusion of the story in the fifth season was only something which struck them while they were developing the season.
Additionally, Amy Sherman-Palladino, in a letter to all her crew and cast members of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, stated that she only wanted to stick the landing for every actor who had poured their heart and soul into making the beloved series.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stars Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, Tony Shalhoub, Marin Hinkle, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, Jane Lynch, and Reid Scott, among other cast members.
