Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover hinted at relationship issues in a preview for the season nine premiere of Southern Charm, and Craig shared they’re in a “tough spot” and it’s becoming “frustrating.”
Craig and the Summer House star have been dating long-distance for over a year, with Paige in New York and Craig in Charleston. In the past, Paige has been hesitant to leave her family and friends in the Big Apple.
In the preview shared by Bravotv.com, Paige and Craig seemed to be on different pages regarding his house renovations.
When asked if a certain spot in the backyard would be for “kids,” Paige declared, “That’s for tanning.”
When discussing the potential color of their outdoor furniture, Craig mentioned purple, to which Paige joked, “I’ll move out.”
Later in the talk, Craig shared his desire for Paige to be “comfortable” in the new place.
“I want you to be comfortable down here, because obviously, I figured out a way to work from New York, which was good. And that’s what I kind of want to see from you down here.”
Paige answered, “Yeah, but like, two weeks ago, I was here for like two full weeks.”
Craig shared that they’ve only spent about “four or five days” apart “at the most,” so being away for “three days” feels like “a lot.”
His girlfriend responded, “Yeah, but you can’t just plan, like, ‘Ok, and now you’ll be in Charleston forever.’”
In a confessional, Craig said he and Paige are in a “tough spot,” and it’s been “getting a little frustrating” because they’ve been “dating for over a year” and they’re “kind of in the same spot.”
Later in the conversation, when Craig told Paige he can’t “fly to meet you that much” in New York, Paige answered, “I didn’t ask you.”
