Jonathan Majors and his lawyers want y’all to stop playing with his name. While he’s still trying to fight his assault case with his ex-girlfriend, he’s now trying to battle through claims that he staged an incident to make him look good to the public.
As we previously reported, Jonathan Majors broke up a high school fight after he noticed two teen girls fighting nearby. After going viral on Twitter, fans had a lot to say about the clip. While some people commended him for stepping in, others thought it was completely staged.
One Twitter user said, “You see Jonathan Majors break up that fight? Shit was so staged! 🤣🤣🤣 this is his PR folks:” Another said, “Nah, b/c I just got mad all over again. 😭 I really wanna know which PR Agency represents Jonathan Majors and why TF they dressed him up as a Great Debater and sent him down to Tyler Perry Studios (Lot B) to break up that staged ass fight? Like, girl.. that was lousy bets. 💀” A third added, “Jonathan Majors was getting food at an In-N-Out Burger, minding his business when he saw two girls fighting and decided to break it up? I wonder if Jonathan coming to the rescue was staged. I wonder where the school was the staff. I just wonder…”
His lawyer is now speaking out to set the record straight. The actor’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, spoke with TMZ and said rumors about the fight outside Hollywood High being staged are “absurd” and one of the students involved in the fight has since come out and confirmed it was all legit.

As we previously reported, TMZ managed to obtain the full video of the chaotic fight that went down at Hollywood High School. The clip begins with one teen girl walking up to another young lady before throwing a punch. Things got pretty intense as the girls dragged each other to the floor and continued to fight. After going at it for nearly two minutes, Jonathan Majors who happened to be nearby, can be seen rushing to break them up.
He tried his best to calm the girls down but they both wanted to go for another round. Majors even did his best to separate them but then the girls went at it again! Majors is seen in between the fight trying to break them apart. Eventually, he was able to bring one girl far away from the other.
This all went down on Monday afternoon as the actor was just trying to grab a bite at In-N-Out. TMZ caught up with the entertainer hours after the showdown and asked him a little more about the incident.
Jonathan didn’t really want to say much but told TMZ that he wasn’t exactly sure what sparked the brawl. Despite that, he added that he just wanted to make sure folks didn’t get hurt in the scuffle, which is why he stepped in.
Well, by the looks of it, someone was pretty hurt. Either way, Jonathan said he’s also hoping the girls are doing alright after the fight, and offered some advice for those involved. As of right now, it is unclear what disciplinary action the school has given the girls as no statement has been released yet.
A Los Angeles Unified School District spokesperson told the news outlet that the school police are investigating this incident but they are unable to comment on the students involved.
