It is reported that four women have accused Brand, who was formerly married to American singer Katy Perry between 2010 to 2012, of sexual assault, rape, and abuse between 2006 and 2013. One alleged victim claims Brand assaulted her when she was 16. Although that is the age of consent in the United Kingdom, she adds that a 30-something-year-old Brand had groomed and raped her. She claims they had a three-month “emotionally and sexually abusive” relationship that included one incident where he allegedly “forced his penis down her throat,” causing her to choke.
The woman recalled another incident where he allegedly removed his condom during intercourse without her knowledge. She also claimed that the actor gave her the nickname “the child,” and would have her read passages from Vladimir Nabokov’s book ‘Lolita‘ during their relationship, and that he also once kissed her mother “on the mouth.”

A third alleged victim claims while she was once working with Brand in Los Angeles in 2013, he allegedly sexually assaulted her at his West Hollywood home. She said he also allegedly threatened to take legal action against her if she ever went public.

Since news broke about all of the rape, abuse and assault allegations, Brand has taken to social media, “absolutely refuting” all of the allegations, further claiming that “all of his relationships with all have been consensual.” The actor claimed that he had received “extremely disturbing” messages from a mainstream TV company, and a newspaper “listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks.”
However, he added, “Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.” He claimed that all of the claims are from a time during the height of his mainstream fame, which is when he was transparently “very, very promiscuous,” but he continued to affirm that all of his relationships from that time “were absolutely always consensual.”
He added, “And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny, makes me question ‘Is there another agenda at play?’” Brand continued to explain, “We are obviously going to look into this matter because it’s very, very serious. In the meantime, I want you to stay close, stay awake, but more important than any of that, if you can, please, stay free.”
