Captain Lee Rosbach Reacts to Rumor Carl Cheated on Lindsay

Captain Lee Rosbach spoke out about the claims of Carl Radke cheating on Lindsay Hubbard on a recent episode of his podcast.

After a seemingly unfounded report suggested that Carl, 38, had not only cheated on Lindsay, 37, but also gotten another woman pregnant, Lee, 73, of Below Deck, confirmed his “buddy” Carl is “devastated” about the breakup and shared what bothers him most about the Summer House stars’ split.

“Carl and I have had a conversation about this. I am not at liberty to discuss any of that conversation, but he is as devastated as anyone I’ve ever seen,” Lee revealed on the September 13 episode of Salty With Captain Lee, via Us Weekly.

“One thing that amazed me is the interest in this,” he continued. “It was going to be a very high-profile wedding, and it was going to be broadcast on Bravo. Is there a graceful way out of something like that?”

As Summer House fans may know, Lindsay and Carl were expected to film their Mexico wedding in November for a future episode, or episodes, of the Bravo reality series. However, rather than film their big day, the now-ex-couple ended up filming their split for the cameras.

Although both Lindsay and Carl have since confirmed their breakup publicly, they haven’t shared an exact reason behind the decision. That said, when Lee’s co-host, Sam DeCavalcanti, mentioned rumors of Carl getting another woman pregnant, Lee made it clear that he’d heard nothing of the sort with a spit-take.

Then, when Sam mentioned that Carl’s mother may have played a role, Lee admitted, “I can see where that could happen.”

“You know [mothers] are always involved. You have to have boundaries,” he stated.

As for what bothered him most about the end of Lindsay and Carl’s relationship, Lee gave a nod to the response of viewers.

“The thing that bothers me about Carl and Lindsay is that they are scrutinized so much that they are not allowed to deal with their issues one-on-one together. I am sure it bothers Carl,” he explained. “I received an email from Carl and Lindsay today saying, ‘You have until the 13th [of September] to cancel your rooms for a full refund.’ Is it an ideal situation? Hell no.”

Days ago, following much speculation, Carl wrote a letter to his family and friends in which he gave a nod to his and Lindsay’s “difficult” two weeks and confirmed his ex-fiancee was “devastated” by their breakup.

“There have been a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings that have made this all the more painful, but sadly, at this time, we are not moving forward with the wedding,” he wrote. “The fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated, and I’m crushed with how all this transpired. I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time.”

Following the statement, Lee noted that only Lindsay and Carl know what really caused the split.

“Everyone that thinks it is a one-sided thing or they know everything there is to know. Only two people who know what is going on are Carl and Lindsay,” he added.

Summer House season eight is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or in early 2024.
