Paige DeSorbo reacted to claims of potentially cheating on boyfriend Craig Conover on Instagram after Taylor Ann Green made the suggestion on the premiere episode of Southern Charm season nine last week.
After Taylor, 28, voiced her suspicions on Southern Charm, and Craig, 34, shot down the idea in an interview, the Summer House cast member, 30, reacted to a fan, who joked that she “doesn’t have the energy to cheat.”
“It was just sad for me because I think I realized in that moment how lost Taylor really is,” Craig told E! News of his co-stars’s accusations against his girlfriend of two years. “I care about her and I was like, ‘Man, you’re really struggling.’”
As Craig noted, he believed Taylor was acting out due to the heartbreak she was still feeling over her split from Shep Rose, 43, last summer.
“She thought she was gonna get married to Shep and he had cheated on her multiple times … That will really turn your world upside down and everything that you think you know about the world. So, she’s dealing with that,” he noted.
Craig then said that after laughing off Taylor’s comments in the moment, thinking to himself that he and Paige are homebodies — and that it would be “a little hard” for either of them to cheat — he gave Paige a heads up about what was said.
“She had a similar reaction,” he revealed.
And after his response to Taylor’s allegations was shared on Instagram, Paige spoke out after seeing a comment a fan had made about the issue.
“We all know Paige doesn’t have the energy to cheat lmao,” the person had written.
“No I’m cryingggggg,” Paige replied, as seen in a screenshot shared by Comments By Bravo on Instagram.
After first being linked in early 2021, Craig and Paige went public with their relationship that October. They have continued to enjoy a long-distance relationship ever since, with him in Charleston and her residing in New York City, as they also make frequent appearances on each other’s Bravo shows.
Back in August, while appearing on It’s Complicated on Bleav, Craig hinted at the claims made against Paige amid the new season of Southern Charm.
“You have to understand that she can do everything perfectly, and she’s a great girlfriend and a very honest girlfriend. That does not mean that what you see on TV is going to look that way and you have to understand that,” he stated.
Southern Charm season nine airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
