Tuesday, September 18th has a brand new Wordle word to solve. Here are the daily hints, and fully spoiled answer, to today’s Wordle.
The newest Wordle word is ready for players to attempt and this word shouldn’t cause too much trouble for most players. The word itself is quite common in normal conversation and doesn’t use any of the normal Wordle tricks that can sometimes throw a player off their game, like duplicate letters or regional spellings.
For those who prefer more of a challenge in their word games, there are a number of Wordle copycats available that increase difficulty and change the way the basic game is played. The battle royale version, Squabble forces players to compete together as they see who will be the first one to solve the answer. There is also Quordle which has players solving multiple puzzles at the exact same time. No matter what difficulty you may prefer there is a daily game out there for you.

Today’s Wordle Hints (September 19th #822)
Today’s Wordle answer is CLOSE.
Not a very difficult word for the day but it still took us a few guesses to get it right. We began our game with the starting word POUND, this only provided a single misplaced vowel. Moving forward we tried CLONE. This clearly unlocked the day’s answer for us by providing four of the five letters needed, and all were in the right spots, but there were a few choices to be made.
Our third guess was CLOVE, which proved to be incorrect. With the choices dwindling we finally scored a solid Wordle win-in-four with the correct answer, CLOSE.
