Heather Dubrow took to her Instagram page before Wednesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County to admit that she “wasn’t happy” during the cast’s trip to Mexico.
Before viewers watched Tamra Judge, 56, accuse Heather, 54, of calling Emily Simpson, 47, and Gina Kirschenheiter, 39, “f*cking losers,” and saw Heather threaten to quit the show, Heather opened up about her mindset during the trip and got some support from Jennifer Pedranti, 46.
“Last slide sums up tonight’s [RHOC] episode, the quote sums up how I feel… In a lot of these photos I’m forcing myself to smile, partly because I WANT to be having a good time and partly because I really wasn’t happy and it got to the point where faking a smile was the best option,” Heather shared in her September 20 post.
She also added, “Maybe I should’ve opted for the Shaman instead of shopping but WHO KNOWS if that would’ve helped!! Ready for tonight’s episode?? Any pre-show predictions or thoughts in general?”
In her last slide, Heather included a screenshot from the episode in which she was seen covering her face with her hand in frustration.
Another slide included a meme in which Heather seemingly signaled to the way Gina and other members of the cast quickly believed the claims Tamra made against her.
“Anybody who easily believes lies about you without hearing your side of the story was already looking for a way to be against you,” the message stated.
Following the sharing of the post, Heather was met with a “like” from Gina and a supportive message from Jennifer.
“That was a tough one.. you ALWAYS handle yourself with so much class and grace. I wish I would have been a better friend during our season. I was just being cooked in my own inferno … Xoxo,” Jennifer wrote, giving a nod to the criticism she was getting from the cast in regard to her relationship with boyfriend Ryan Boyajian.
“Love you,” Heather replied, along with a red heart emoji.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 finale airs next Wednesday, September 27, at 8/7c on Bravo.
