Melissa Gorga & Jackie Goldschneider’s friendship is on rocky ground as the former RHONJ star’s relationship with Teresa Giudice blossoms.
The dynamics within the RHONJ cast are changing amid filming for season 14 of the hit Bravo show.
Melissa Gorga was recently caught complaining about her longtime friend, Jackie Goldschneider, to their RHONJ co-star, Danielle Cabral.
As RHONJ fans know, Jackie has starred on the show since 2018 when she joined the season 8 cast alongside fellow newbie Jennifer Aydin. Jackie was demoted to a “friend of” for season 13 of RHONJ. The 46-year-old insisted she was happy to be demoted to a friend, although sources are telling a different story.
In December 2022, Jackie explained to PEOPLE why she decided to step down to a friend role for season 13 of RHONJ.
“When Bravo approached me about casting for season 13, I obviously was very excited to be a part of the show again because I love the show,” Jackie recalled. “But my recovery was not in the place that I expected it to be. It was moving very slowly. I was still being triggered by stress, and I still needed a lot of intense therapy.”
After expressing her concerns to Bravo, the network offered her a friend role for season 13.
“They were so supportive,” she said. “And even though that was a really tough pill to swallow, and it was hard for me to step back a little bit after having been such a big part of the show for so many years, I really knew that that was probably the best solution.”
Throughout season 13, Jackie’s bond with Melissa seemed to remain strong despite Jackie no longer being a main cast member of RHONJ.
However, now RHONJ fans are questioning just how “real” their friendship was as Melissa was recently caught badmouthing Jackie on camera.
In a video shared on Instagram by AllAboutTRH, Melissa can be overheard talking to Danielle Cabral at her clothing boutique Envy as cameras filmed for season 14.
Melissa complains to Danielle about the RHONJ “friend of,” saying: “Jackie – she wants to be invited to every single party.”
While Melissa and Jackie’s friendship seems to be going down the tubs, Jackie’s relationship with RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice is blossoming.
Jackie attended Teresa’s Tipsy in Tulum party earlier this week and gushed about the event on the RHONJ OG’s Instagram post.
“Great party! Loved being invited,” Jackie commented on Teresa’s Instagram alongside a side-eye emoji and red heart emoji.
Naturally, RHONJ fans have a lot to say about Melissa’s comment about Jackie, as well as Jackie’s budding friendship with Teresa.
“Melissa is NO ONE’s FRIEND! She is a user,” one fan commented.
“Omg!! I feel horrible for Jackie! She truly was friends with Melissa and Marge! If all of this is true, I am upset for her!” a second fan wrote.
“JACKIE, THAT LADY IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!!!!” a third fan commented.
A fourth fan wrote: “Oop Jackie with the shade. I can’t wait to see Melissa lie and continually gaslight her when confronted next season.”
“Lowkey a Jackie stan. Now im glad she’s finally seeing the light,” another fan commented.
