While the WGA may have gotten their deal, fans are still waiting for studios to strike a contract with SAG-AFTRA. As the delays continue to mount up, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds reunite with Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy for a succulent meal.
The ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike prevents any actors from working on or promoting any upcoming or currently released projects, which includes Deadpool 3. This has left many fans craving any taste of the Merc with a Mouth as set photos had just begun to ramp up before the strike. While the strike rages on, fans get a small tithe to hold over as Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy reunite as they wait to shoot again.
Interestingly, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are sporting beards during their dinner with director Shawn Levy. While this journalist is probably overthinking a simple picture, this could point to a time jump at some point in Deadpool 3, potentially showing the two stranded somewhere (Perhaps Battleworld for Secret Wars?). Hopefully, soon the studios can decide on a contract with SAG-AFTRA so fans can find out sooner rather than later.

Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.
