Following her collaborative singles with Destroy Lonely and Troye Sivan, PinkPantheress has returned with the new song “Mosquito.”
Written and produced by PinkPantheress, alongside Greg Kurstin, “Mosquito” taps into the drum-and-bass meets bedroom-pop sound that she pulls off so well — and made her an alluring force when she released her debut mixtape, to hell with it, at the end of 2021. But its accompanying video, directed by Sophie Muller (Beyoncé, Rihanna), is the real highlight.

Here, PinkPantheress has recruited Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton), India Amarteifio (Queen Charlotte), and Yara Shahidi (Black-ish) for a fun visual that nods to classic rom-com scenes, like going on shopping sprees with your best friends. Rather than hitting up Journeys or Sephora, though, the crew trawl through some of London’s designer stores, trying on Fendi sunglasses and picking up fancy bird statues.
