RHOBH’s Mauricio Umansky makes it clear that his wife, Kyle Richards, NEVER cheated on him with Morgan Wade despite their current separation.
“Kyle and I are human beings, OK? We have emotions, we have feelings, we’re going through a really hard time, OK?” the Buying Beverly Hills star told TMZ on Friday.
“We are currently separated, we are not talking about divorce, and we’re trying to deal with this stuff internally with ourselves privately.”
Mauricio Umansky clarified the status of his and Kyle’s marriage after he misspoke on a recent podcast. On Thursday’s episode of The Agency Dallas’ “Red Mic” podcast, Mauricio said that he and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG were “not separated” amid their reported marital woes.
“I’m not going to destroy my life to put a plant in the news so that people can get more entertainment,” he said on the podcast amid gossip he and Kyle planted stories about their marriage for attention. “That was an absolute blow.”
“We were dealing with our own things, kind of, super quietly and internally, just our own issues,” he continued. “I mean, certainly, we’re not separated. We’re not divorced at this point. We are not any of that stuff.”
According to Mauricio, he only meant to say that divorce is not on the table at this point amid his and Kyle’s current struggles.
“Divorce is not part of our conversation right now. That is not part of what we’re dealing with. We’re dealing with a separation,” the RHOBH husband reiterated.
“We’ve had 26 amazing years,” he continued, noting that the past year has been “really tough” on the couple. However, he quickly noted that “we’re not ready to throw in the towel yet.”
Mauricio also addressed rumors that Kyle cheated on him with country singer Morgan Wade.
“There is no doubt in my mind that Kyle has not slept or cheated with Morgan Wade. They are really great friends,” he told TMZ on Friday. “They are filming stuff together; they’re doing stuff together. They are not in a relationship.”
Regardless of what happens with their marriage, Mauricio insists that he and Kyle “always love each other” and will “always be friends.”
The RHOBH couple wed in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
Kyle and Farrah came out to support Mauricio at the season 32 premiere of Dancing With the Stars.
“‘Dancing With the Stars’ has been amazing … it’s made me feel like a kid,” he said earlier this week. “I feel like I’m 15 years old right now. I’m having the time of my life. It’s been really good for me to be dancing and to be dealing with all of the stress and everything I’m going through with ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ It could not have come at a better time.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is reportedly returning to Bravo for season 13 in late 2023. Some reports suggest season 13 will premiere on November 1.
