Sofía Vergara and Heidi Klum’s Friendship in Pictures

Sofía Vergara and Heidi Klum’s friendship is a real winner. After bonding on the set of “America’s Got Talent” in 2020, the women quickly formed a fun onscreen relationship filled with playful banter and accidental matching outfits. Since then, their fan-favorite friendship has followed them way beyond the judges’ panel, featuring impromptu dinner dates, plenty of snacks during commercial breaks, and some casual sunset yachting.

While Klum and Vergara were acquainted before judging the competition show, they “really got to know each other” on set, Klum said in a recent interview with NBC Insider. “We feel very ‘Sex and the City’ when the four of us go out,” she said, referencing mutual friends and “girl gang” members like Lauren Silverman, Terry Mandel, and Terri Seymour. “When we all hang out together, we’re kind of gossiping, talking about relationships,” she continued. “I mean, girly stuff, and it’s just fun to have girls to do that with now, and we’re all kind of in the same age group.”

“We’re connected, we’re like twins.”

While all of their crew step out in fabulous outfits, Vergara and Klum really match each other’s energy, previously partying in equally plunging dresses and both wearing zebra print for an especially serendipitous “AGT” episode. “We’re always twinning, but you think that we planned this and we don’t. It just happens,” Vergara said to Entertainment Tonight in August. “We’re connected, we’re like twins.”

Although they’re still coworkers, at the end of the day, Klum and Vergara consider themselves lucky to spend so much time together. “You know, it’s not really work. You can’t call this work what we’re doing,” Klum recently told Access Hollywood in August. “We have a great time together off camera and on camera.” Read on to see some of their greatest moments so far, as judges and friends.
