Jeremy ‘JR’ Robinson Announces Breakup With Tamar Braxton

Yet another celebrity couple bites the dust!

Tamar Braxton’s Queens Court fiancé Jeremy “JR” Robinson has announced their breakup while throwing some shade about her recent burglary.

After a reality show relationship and engagement, J.R. and Tamar’s whirlwind romance is officially over. The couple endured social media scrutiny, baby mama drama and messy beef with other celebrity couples. However, the final straw seemed to be a recent break-in that left Tamar feeling like she wasn’t “safe anywhere or with anyone.”

As BOSSIP previously reported, Tamar took to social media with footage of robbers breaking into her car. Despite the former lovebirds posting each other the day before, the announcement hinted at a breakup. In addition to Tamar sharing that not even JR made her feel safe, she seemed to reveal that she recently moved out. “I had a lot in my car ’cause I don’t live anywhere,” she said.

According to Collider, there were other hints about trouble in paradise for JR and Tamar. Before the break-in earlier this month, Tamar shared that she related to another reality star’s messy break-up: Drew Sidora.

Later this month, the “All The Way Home” singer will start her tour for the 10th anniversary of Love And War. Tamar said she picked the RHOA star as the opening act because she could relate to Drew’s “vulnerability over being alone.”

Fans clocked another hint about JR and Tamar growing apart on her YouTube channel. The couple launched a series about the realities of their blended multiracial family on All Things Black and White. In addition to the swirling reality stars, their would-be family included Tamar’s two children with ex-husband Vince Herbert and JR’s five kids with four women.

Fans noticed, however, that there are only two episodes of the series, which didn’t continue after June 16. There’s no shortage of new content from Tamar, who recently launched a new YouTube series. However, there’s a suspicious lack of JR in Days With Tay.

Now, the attorney is finally setting the record straight about the robbery and his relationship with Tamar.

It’s hard to tell if Jeremy “JR” Robinson is fed up with all the speculation, new-found fame, or just Tamar Braxton, but he sounds over it.

On Sunday, the lawyer took to social media to clear the air about “so many questions” and “so many assumptions.”

He finally addressed his Tamar relationship and the break-in that sparked breakup rumors, and unlike many celebrity breakup announcements that vaguely sound like they grew apart, JR made it clear that he “ended the relationship.”

“So many questions. So many assumptions. I want to answer all that I can with respect. Yes, Tamar and I are no longer together. I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person,” he wrote on Instagram Stories.

He refused to divulge details about exactly what led to the split, but he ruled out the most common assumptions from internet instigators.

JR denied stepping out, clout chasing and being on the hook for protecting Tamar from a break-in at someone else’s residence.

“What happened and why – that’s our private place. No, I never cheated. No, I wasn’t there when she was at her mother’s place when her car was burglarized. No, I never cared about fame,” JR continued.

The former reality show contestant seemed to already regret his 15 minutes of fame.

He claims he doesn’t need to chase stars like Tamar because he already represents them. The post clarified that he didn’t need the Love and War singer’s money because he has his own. In fact, Queens Court producers had to beg him to do the show.

“Who reveals their most embarrassing moments in their life to find fame? I have always represented famous people and the truth is I was in an amazing place financially and mentally. I turned down Queens Court several times before I gave in,” he revealed.

“Ultimately, I fell in love and it did not end how I wanted it. So, I want to heal. Tamar and I will always be friends and family for life. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
