Artist Friendly returns for another episode this Wednesday. Following conversations with Good Charlotte, MxPx, and Franklin Jonas, Brandon Boyd of Incubus will join Joel Madden on the latest episode of the podcast.
Incubus are gearing up to play Aftershock this Thursday and celebrate the anniversary of their fourth studio album, Morning View, by playing it in full at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Friday. “It was such a massive moment, a shift in my life and in the guy’s lives,” Boyd told AP of the album. “It wasn’t just that we were peeking our heads above ground as a band.” The performance will be a sweet one, as the band originally ran through Morning View in 2021 for a Veeps livestream, returning to the Malibu house where they wrote and recorded the album. This time, however, the band will get to play to a proper crowd, coinciding with the release of the album’s rerecorded version, Morning View XXIII.
