The recent developments surrounding the infamous murder of Tupac Shakur have brought forth a treasure trove of evidence that has never been seen before. Last week, a Clark County grand jury made a significant breakthrough by indicting 60-year-old Duane “Keffe D” Davis in connection with Shakur’s murder. As part of the ongoing investigation, never-before-seen photos of the crime scene and videos from the night of the shooting have been obtained by 8 News Now.
These newly shared pieces of evidence shed fresh light on one of the most high-profile cases in music history. The photos offer a glimpse into the crime scene, providing crucial details that could potentially unravel long-standing mysteries surrounding Shakur’s untimely demise. Additionally, the videos captured on that fateful night provide a unique perspective into the events leading up to and following the shooting.
The files obtained Monday include a video of Shakur and “Suge” Knight leaving the MGM Grand following a fight. Photos obtained by the news site also show the bullet-ridden car that Tupac was a passenger in when he was struck on Sept. 7, 1996. The grand jury was also shown photos of Shakur’s autopsy.

More On The Case And Recent Arrest Of Duane “Keffe D” Davis
As previously reported, the shooting occurred on Sept. 7, 1996, at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, a block off the Las Vegas Strip, following a fight earlier in the night. In the hours before the murder, Shakur’s group reportedly attacked Orlando Anderson, who is reportedly a member of a rival gang and Davis’ nephew.
In court documents, witnesses claimed Davis, was not only a longtime gang member but also a well-known drug trafficker. On top of that witnesses said Shakur affiliated himself with members of the Mob Piru despite not being affiliated with them or the Bloods.
Davis was said to be the one sitting in the front passenger seat of the car, which pulled up side-by-side with Tupac before firing bulletts at the intersection, police and prosecutors said. Knight, was driving a BMW sedan with Shakur in the passenger seat when the shooting occurred.
In addition to the new photos and videos, prosecutors also showed the panel at least four videos of Davis giving interviews about the shooting.
In 2009, Davis actually confessed to police a role in the case, a former detective who investigated the shooting told CNN, but authorities couldn’t immediately use the information. Davis, 60, was finally arrested in Las Vegas on Friday, with a grand jury indicting him in the case on charges of murder with use of a deadly weapon.
Davis is expected to appear in court for his first appearance Wednesday.
