Meredith Marks ‘Did Not Say’ Rumor About Angie K’s Husband

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks denies spreading rumors about Angie’s Katsanevas husband, Shawn Trujillo.

On the October 3 episode of RHOSLC, Angie Katsanevas was informed of a rumor going around about her husband.

While at Lisa Barlow’s Apres Ski party, Whitney Rose and Monica Garcia told Angie Katsanevas that Meredith Marks was threatening to reveal a nasty rumor about her husband, Shawn Trujillo.

According to Monica, the rumor is that Angie’s husband has been stepping out on their marriage with men. Shawn’s so-called “boyfriends” have been talking about their alleged affairs all around Salt Lake City.

After the episode aired, Meredith Marks tweeted that she “did not say” the rumor about Angie’s husband.

The jewelry designer tweeted:

“I did not say that. I barely know the woman! I don’t care who her husband is sleeping with as long as it’s consensual.”

Angie, for her part, isn’t buying any of it.

“They have nothing else to talk about, and if I am making them relevant and basically bringing Meredith back from the dead last season? Hey, she’s engaging; good for her – love to see it. But there’s really, truly nothing about my marriage out in Salt Lake City. These girls are trying to be relevant, and I’m OK with that. I know the truth,” she told Us Weekly.

“My marriage is real. These rumors are not, and that’s the bottom line. “Unlike Meredith, I’m going to take the high road,” she continued. “I don’t want to talk about anyone’s marriage or relationship because I have a daughter, I have a family, and I’m going to let her go low, and I’m going to stay high.”

As for Angie’s husband, Shawn, he revealed on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that the gay rumors don’t bother him; it’s more about the claims that he was unfaithful to his wife.

“It was interesting,” he admitted. “For me, it’s not a gay-straight thing. It’s an infidelity thing for me. We love our gay community. We’ve been embedded in it for 30 years now just based on what we do for our business, but you know, it’s just… I’m here to support Angie, and I’ll take the hits.”
