Kim Zolciak told police she didn’t feel “safe” in her home amid her contentious divorce with Kroy Biermann. Meanwhile, a source claimed the exes are still living under the same roof, and their situation is now a “money war.”
The former Don’t Be Tardy stars have made several accusations against each other, though they briefly attempted to reconcile in the summer.
Per TMZ, Kim made a 911 call last Thursday, telling the police that she felt unsafe. The star claimed Kroy locked himself in a bedroom with both of Kim’s phones, thereby preventing her from leaving the home.
“I have neither of them. He’s kept them from me for hours,” said Kim, via Page Six. “I need to leave because I don’t feel safe here.”
Kim said she purchased a second cell phone because Kroy previously took the first one last year, which made her feel “scared.”
The star apologized for contacting the authorities over “trivial stuff,” and she added that their marital turmoil is “just exhausting.”
The next day, both Kim and Kroy went to court for a hearing that was already scheduled on the calendar.
Despite their recent disputes, a source told PEOPLE that the former couple are “still under the same roof,” and they claimed the situation is a “money war right now.”
The insider noted that Kim and Kroy are “not trying to get back together.”
Back in July, amid their short-lived reconciliation, a source told the same outlet, “They’re still all over the place … Everyday is a new day for them.”
