Scheana Shay revealed Lindsay Hubbard called the paparazzi on her and her Vanderpump Rules co-stars, including Ariana Madix, post-“Scandoval” on the latest episode of her podcast.
As she seemingly looked back on a New York City dinner date in May with her husband, Brock Davies, co-star Ariana, 38, Ariana’s boyfriend, Daniel Wai, and Southern Charm cast member Madison LeCroy, 33, Scheana said she and Brock are still planning to travel to Mexico for Lindsay, 37, and Carl Radke‘s wedding, despite it being called off.
“Speaking of weddings, there was obviously one in November in Cancun that I know you weren’t going to. I was. I am still going. We didn’t take a honeymoon,” Scheana told guests Paige DeSorbo, 30, and Hannah Berner, 32, on the October 6 episode of Scheananigans, per Us Weekly. “When I got the email saying, ‘If you still want to go, then go.’ I texted [Kyle Cooke] and [Amanda Batula] and they said they are still going. This will be our unofficial honeymoon then.”
“I think a lot of people are actually doing that. There was even [this idea] floating around like, ‘Should we all go and book rooms?’” Paige replied.
Although Paige noted that the wedding is “right after BravoCon,” and she’ll “probably [be] going to sleep,” she said “a lot” of people were planning to move forward with their Mexico trips.
“I think a lot of people are doing what you are doing. Are they going to pick up cameras and film everyone down there?” she wondered.
Then, during another segment of her podcast, Scheana recalled her NYC dinner date with her castmates and fellow Bravolebrities, after which the group was photographed leaving the restaurant.
“We were here [in New York] for an event that I was doing and Ariana [Madix] was on Watch What Happens Live]. We were at dinner with Lindsay, Carl [Radke] and some other people and right when we left the event suddenly there were [photographers] everywhere,” Scheana revealed, also via Us Weekly. “I didn’t want to throw anyone under the bus but they texted me after, ‘Did Lindsay tell you she was doing that? Calling the paparazzi on you guys? She always does that.’”
According to Scheana, she used to call paparazzi on herself. However, she hasn’t done so since being called out for it years ago.
“I used to do it with boyfriends but then when I started getting called out, I didn’t do it anymore. But then it naturally started happening — more in the past year — without me calling,” she noted.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or in early 2024.
