Caitlyn Jenner is sending love and praising her stepdaughter Kim Kardashian after previously exposing her with regretful comments about the reality-star-turned-mogul “calculating how to be famous.”

As we shared last month, Sky News produced a three-part documentary-style series called ‘House of Kardashian,’ whose trailer was released on September 14, a few weeks before the full series premiere.

In addition to the first-hand stories and anecdotes from the family’s inner circle, the real-life factual series also includes never-before-seen archival footage of the Kardashian-Jenner family. And although the Kardashian-Jenner clan doesn’t have any direct involvement in the show, Kris Jenner‘s ex-husband and Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner‘s father, who’s since transitioned, chose to participate.

In a viral promotional clip, the 73-year-old Olympian spoke with the show’s producers and exposed the ways of her former stepdaughter. In the dramatic promo clip, Caitlyn said, “Kimberly calculated from the beginning, ‘How do I become famous?’”
Following Caitlyn’s remarks about Kim, sources said that she didn’t really mean what she said, telling TMZ that her comments were clipped from a bigger conversation, where she proudly spoke about her stepdaughter.
Sources close to Caitlyn said her use of the word “calculated” really wasn’t the best choice and she didn’t mean to diss Kim, but things have already made their way back to her. The outlet said that after the trailer dropped, “the explanation given to Kim was that Caitlyn’s words were edited to come off more controversial than they actually were.”
Another source added that Caitlyn is super proud of the SKIMS founder and that the two are on good terms after all of the hoopla from the trailer.

On Sunday (October 8), Caitlyn Jenner continued to send her love and praises to her stepdaughter after catching wind of Kim Kardashian namedropping her on a recent episode of her Hulu series, ‘The Kardashians.’ In the clip, a producer told Kim, “You strike me as the kind of person who, before you’re ready to take the step, you take the step.”
Kim agreed, “Yeah. That’s something that my stepdad taught me. She said something to me that really stuck with me, for a really, I guess, my whole life, [and that’s] that I should try to do things that I am scared of and that are outside of my comfort zone, ’cause that’s the only way I’ll ever grow.”
Reposting the clip, Caitlyn tagged Kim and said, “Kim, I am so proud to be your stepdad – always have been, always will be. I promised your father and I’ve tried my best to keep that promise and I love you to the moon and back. Always so proud of you. Love you.”
