In addition, AMC has also announced the addition of Rya Kihlstedt (A Teacher), James Hiroyuki Liao (Barry), and Reed Diamond (Better Call Saul) to the cast of Orphan Black: Echoes. What to expect in Orphan Black: Echoes?

“Set in the near future, the spin-off takes a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence,” reads the synopsis. “It follows a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unravelling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal.”

Orphan Black: Echoes is created, written, and executive produced by showrunner Anna Fishko (Pieces of Her, The Society). The main cast includes: Ritter as Lucy, a woman with an unimaginable origin story; Keeley Hawes as perceptive but sensitive scientist who finds herself at odds with her own moral code; Amanda Fix as Jules, a salty teen trying to find herself; and Avan Jogia as Lucy’s boyfriend Jack, a soft-spoken former army medic and single father.

The 10-episode series is directed and executive produced by the original series’ co-creator John Fawcett. Executive producers are David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, Nick Nantell, Kerry Appleyard, and Katie O’Connell Marsh.
