RHOSLC star Mary Cosby body-shames Heather Gay over her Gucci outfit on WWHL: “I’ve never seen a corset in size 14.”
Mary Cosby was slammed on social media for “fat-shaming” co-star Heather Gay on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
On WWHL, the RHOSLC OG turned friend was playing a game called “Versace or Hibachi” when Heather’s Gucci x Adidas season 4 confessional corset look came up.
“No, I don’t think Gucci makes that,” Mary quipped when asked if she liked the look.
Andy Cohen and guest Ziwe Fumudoh were shocked by Mary’s claim that Heather’s Gucci top was “fake.”
“I’ve never seen a corset in, like, a size 14,” Mary replied. “Have you?”
Despite the shock over her answer, Mary doubled down by noting that it was her “opinion.”
On Wednesday, Heather reacted to Mary’s diss on Instagram
“It’s real. And it’s spectacular!” she commented under the @bravobybetches Instagram post.
Then, on her own Instagram page, Heather clapped back at Mary’s “size 14” comment.
“Thank you @gucci for being so inclusive #RHOSLC,” Heather wrote alongside of photo of her in the now infamous Gucci corset.
RHOSLC fans blasted Mary on social media for her “vile” and “classless” body-shaming comments.
“Body shaming now, too, Mary? Gross. You quite possibly qualify for the worst example of a Christian ever. And that *is* a Gucci corset… excuse me, cors-ket. @heathergay29 can afford to buy her authentic Gucci without swindling her customers in the name of Jesus. #WWHL,” one Bravo fan tweeted.
“Mary is disgusting & vile. The fact she feels so comfortable fat-shaming Heather and talking about the cast’s diet is despicable. Team Heather, get Mary off this show,” a second fan commented.
“Damn, Mary fat shaming Heather wow, please get rid of her,” someone asked.
“Nothing about Mary Cosby and her hateful, negative, nasty, unwarranted commentary is funny or entertaining. As we just saw after fat shaming Heather on #WWHL, she stands by all her comments, so idk what the hell they were thinking bringing her back to #RHOSLC, but she brings ZERO,” another person tweeted.
“Mary is so vile for weight shaming Heather,” a fan chimed in while another commented: “Not Mary M. Cosby being the worst guest ever. The size 14 comment about Heather was classless.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 4 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
