Taylor Ann Green has a new man in her life. And, while it was previously suspected that she may be dating Southern Hospitality star TJ Dinch‘s roommate, Wilson Filogamo, her mystery man has since been identified as another one of TJ’s roommates.
As Taylor, 28, opened up about the person she’s dating on Wednesday and shared their plans for the upcoming months, she also offered an update on where she stands with Olivia Flowers, 31, amid their ongoing drama over Austen Kroll, 36, on Southern Charm.
“With everything that’s transpired in the last few months, both of us having lost a sibling, everything’s just tabled right now,” Taylor told Us Weekly on October 11. “I know we’re going to have to rehash it at [the] reunion or whatever, but we’ve been able to put all things aside and be there for each other as friends, and that’s really important for me.”
While acknowledging that it was a “really sh*tty club to be a part of,” noting her brother Richard “Worth” Worthington Green‘s death in June and Connor Flowers‘ passing earlier this year, Taylor said she and Olivia “value” one another’s friendship.
“We’re good,” Taylor said of her family. “It still doesn’t really seem real, but you have your moments and you’ll be driving down the road and you’ll start bawling your eyes out for about 30 seconds and you’re like, ‘OK, I’m OK. I’m good.’ There’s no right or wrong way to process, but we’re working through it.”
As she does her best to move forward, Taylor admitted on a recent episode of Southern Charm that she and Austen thought about dating one another as she attempted to reconcile her friendship with Olivia.
“Olivia’s the type of person where she has to process things, and that’s why I was so wanting to meet up with her that morning and let her process it,” Taylor said. “I was like, ‘I don’t want her to walk into this room and feel completely blindsided and trying to understand what’s going on with everybody around.’ But of course, you can’t really have it your way when cameras are in town.”
Ahead of the October 12 episode, in which Austen tells Shep Rose, 43, that he and Taylor kissed, but nothing more, Taylor described her ex-boyfriend as forgiving.
“I know that Shep is very much so like that. He’s like, ‘One love. Everybody should be happy, right?’ And I kind of admire him for having that outlook on life,” she shared. “And, you know, life is short. At the end of the day, again, forgive as you’d want to be forgiven and let’s move forward. And there’s no reason to hate anybody, yeah. I don’t hate anyone. I literally don’t.”
As for her new man, Taylor confirmed to Us Weekly that his name is Gaston.
“I am seeing somebody. I am currently dating, so things are going really well,” she told The Daily Dish on October 11. ”I feel very happy and confident. It’s a good feeling to have.”

Although Gaston’s last name was not revealed, Taylor did reveal what she was looking for in a dream guy.
“I’m just looking for a best friend — somebody to do life with, laugh, have a good time [with], and don’t take life too seriously,” she explained. “Each day should be just a gift. That’s what I wanted, and just share it with somebody.”
In the coming months, following her appearance at BravoCon in November, Taylor said she and Gaston will be traveling to California for a week of relaxation.
“It’s going to be me, TJ, Brad[ley Carter], and Emmy [Sharrett] from [Southern Hospitality], and then we’ve got some other friends, my boyfriend will be there and their roommate and best friend,” Taylor shared. “We’ve got a place with a hot tub, so I was like, ‘Let’s just relax, because we’re going to need it.’”
