Lawd! Shannon Sharpe just dropped a clip from his podcast ‘Club Shay Shay’ where he interviewed Tommy Davidson and the actor spoke about a pervious altercation where Will Smith approached him in a movie trailer and was about to beat him up.
This altercation reportedly took place in 1998 on the set of the movie “Woo.” This isn’t Davidson’s first time speaking about the altercation, but in light of the recent news that Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have been separated for seven years, Shannon Sharpe dropped this promo clip with perfect timing. During the conversation Davidson shared, “he came into the trailer and I was sitting down and he’s standing over top of me like this. And then he’s like ‘hey hey I don’t appreciate that.’ And I’m like well what are you talking about because I always know to play it off.” He also says Will continued to stand over top of him and was biting his lip which made Davidson realize that he was really upset so he got up and attempted to get Will to go outside so they could talk about the situation.

As we previously shared, Jada Pinkett broke the internet today when she revealed her and Will Smith are living “completely separate lives.” She also explained that the decision to not tell the public came down to “just not being ready yet … Still trying to figure out between the two of us how to be in partnership … In regards to, how do we present that to people? We hadn’t figured that out.”
As we previously reported, Chris Rock did a special on Netflix live called “selective outrage” where he finally spoke about Will Smith slapping him at the Oscars in front of millions of people watching. Now Smith did apologize for putting his hands on Rock in a Youtube video. During the apology, Smith also addressed questions about whether or not Pinkett Smith, who was seen on camera rolling her eyes at Rock’s joke comparing her buzzcut to Demi Moore from “G.I. Jane,” is who urged him to charge the stage. The actor said his wife said nothing to spur him to go on stage and assault Rock. “It’s like, you know, I made a choice on my own, from my own experiences, from my history with Chris,” Smith says. “Jada had nothing to do with it. I’m sorry, babe. I want to say sorry to my kids and my family for the heat that I brought on all of us.”

“To all my fellow nominees, you know, this is a community, it’s like I won because you voted for me,” Smith said in the video. “And it really breaks my heart to have stolen and tarnished your moment. I can still see Questlove’s eyes. You know, it happened on Questlove’s award. And, you know, it’s like, ‘I’m sorry’ really isn’t sufficient.”
