Jax Taylor appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night, where he offered an update on where he stands with Tom Sandoval and doubled down on his claims against “mean” Katie Maloney.
While also sharing more details about his recent flight drama with JetBlue, looking back on his regrettable moments on Vanderpump Rules, and opening up about his wedding feud with Stassi Schroeder, 35, and Beau Clark, Jax, 44, addressed claims of making his House of Villains co-star Tiffany Pollard, 41, of Flavor of Love, cry.
“[It was] the other way around. She made me cry,” Jax clarified on the October 12 episode of the WWHL: After Show. “I don’t bawl but gosh she made me tear up. I was way out of my element on that show, folks. That was the hardest show I’ve ever done. They are villains. I am a reformed villain. I was way out of my element. I don’t know what I was doing there.”
Jax also addressed his time filming the E! series on the live broadcast of WWHL, responding to a question about Corinne Olympios of The Bachelor telling Bobby Lytes of Love & Hip Hop: Miami that Jax can’t be trusted.
“Did she say that about me? You know I’m not a big fan of watching myself on TV, but yes. I believe that. That’s understandable,” he noted.
In addition to joining House of Villians, Jax opened a sports bar earlier this year in the Studio City area of Los Angeles.
“It’s already open. Hopefully one day we can franchise these but yeah, it’s called Jax’s,” he shared. “It’s like a tavern, sports bar, lounge, little bit of everything. My wife designed the majority of it. It’s amazing. It’s beautiful. Beer cheese, claws, oysters, burgers, pastas, everything. It’s amazing.”
He’s also looking to expand his family with Brittany Cartwright, 34, telling host Andy Cohen, 55, that he “absolutely” wants more kids and “can’t wait” for his second son or daughter.
What he didn’t want to discuss was Randall Emmett, 52, who allegedly owes him $75,000.
“Next question,” he said when his name was mentioned.
Although Jax is not in a good place with Randall, he sees Lala Kent, 33, and Scheana Shay, 38, “two to three times a week” for playdates with their daughters and his two-year-old son, Cruz.
Sadly, the same can’t be said for him and Stassi.
“Stassi I would love. I wish I was good friends with Stassi and Beau still. I’m trying,” he explained. “Obviously, we didn’t go to their wedding and they’re still kind of holding that over our heads … It hurts my feelings. I love them to death. I wish we could be friends again. It hurts me because I love them both dearly but they just took it to heart that we didn’t go to their wedding.”
During a game of “Do! You! Regret It!?,” Jax revealed he has a lot of regrets from his time on Pump Rules, including cheating on Stassi in Las Vegas, stealing sunglasses in Hawaii, hooking up with Kristen Doute, 40, and getting both Stassi and Carmen Dickman‘s names tattooed on his body.
He also regrets telling Lisa Vanderpump, 63, that Pump Rules was his show — at least a little bit.
“For TV’s sake… Do I regret it? I guess, yeah. I regret it. It depends,” he reasoned.
As for what he doesn’t regret, Jax said he doesn’t have any qualms about telling his friends he was the “number one guy” in the group, nor would he go back and change the fact that he demoted Sandoval from his best man to a groomsman at his wedding.
“He should’ve never been at my wedding. I should have never had him there,” he noted.
Regarding James Kennedy, 31, Jax said he’s the number one guy in the group these days — along with one other castmate.
“For his show, yes. We’ll see how long that lasts .. [Ariana Madix]’s the number one guy in the group, actually,” he stated.
When Jax was then asked about the reports of making a flight turnaround, he explained the situation in detail.
“The seat reclined, right? I got on the flight first. I was first class. Sat down and took a nap before the plane took off. Well, when the plane was coming back, they’re like, ‘Can you put your seat back up?’ The seat didn’t go back up so what am I supposed to do? It’s a regulation. The seat, it has to be upright position. They’re like, ‘You can sit back in coach or we have to turn the flight around.’ Well, I’m like, ‘I have to go home and take care of my child all day. You have to turn the flight back then,’” Jax revealed, leaving Andy in shock.
“Hold on. The flight was turned around because you wouldn’t go back to sit in coach?” he asked.
“Because I wanted to sleep. I was sitting in first class. There was nothing else available,” Jax explained. “They’re gonna put me in the middle of the seat. The thing left five feet from the gate. It’s a long flight. I gotta get up. I gotta take my kid to school. I wanna sleep. Nobody got out. They just let me off. Very simple. The seat didn’t work. I got on another flight. Simple.”
Also on the live broadcast, Jax called out Katie for being mean to his wife for the second time this week.
“I think because of the situation that we didn’t go to Stassi’s wedding and I think that Katie’s kind of just doing what Stassi says so she’s mad at my wife, and I just don’t think it’s fair because it had nothing to do with my wife,” he explained. “I just feel like she shouldn’t be so mean to her. That’s all.”
“You think that Katie is Stassi’s puppet?” Andy replied.
“Yeah,” Jax confirmed.
As for his relationship with Sandoval, Jax said, “We have talked.”
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to return to Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
