Much like their mythical maiden namesake, MEDUZA’s latest effort arrives with a spellbinding allure that’s hard to escape.

The Italian trio’s new self-titled EP has yielded a moment in time where there’s seemingly never been a better opportunity to get acquainted with their sound, one that has found success from the world’s underground dancefloors to its commercial airwaves.

Leading the double-sided MEDUZA EP is the equivalent of a sonic victory lap. Dotted with the group’s recent meteoric hits including the intoxicating “Piece Of Your Heart” and the singalong-inducing “Bad Memories,” it’s an appreciated refresher that brings some holistic perspective to their remarkable journey thus far.

Disc 2 delves deeper into more of MEDUZA’s personal inspirations, taking a beat from 90s-era rave, techno, trance and more. The bundle of tracks offers fans even more to chew over with tracks like “Obsession,” which melds hypnotic hooks with haunting choral vocals and primal, techno-inspired basslines. Meanwhile, “Ecstacy” stands as a similarly glowing highlight that showcases the group’s natural ability to enrapture dancefloors around the world.

“This collection of music is a very proud moment for all three of us, we never expected so much love and support over the last five years and we are so thankful to all the people we have worked with on our music and all the people around the world that have listened and supported us,” the group said in a statement. “This project tells the story and journey from the beginning of MEDUZA to where we are now as artists and a feeling of where we will go in the future. As a group we are always trying to push house music globally on both the radio, in the clubs and beyond. We hope that this EP shows everyone both sides of MEDUZA that we love.”

The EP arrives following MEDUZA’s stellar closing season sets in Ibiza at Hï and Ushuaïa, including their own Our House residency alongside James Hype. For their next act, they’re taking on a high-profile headlining performance at London’s Studio 3338 on October 14th.
