Gina’s Boyfriend Travis Mullen Granted Restraining Order

Gina Kirschenheiter’s boyfriend, Travis Mullen, has been granted a restraining order against his ex-wife, Meghan Mullen.

After filing court documents against Meghan on August 16, claiming he was fearful of her due to her threats against him and his family, Travis, 38, who also requested protection for the Real Housewives of Orange County star, 39, received his request.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Travis filed for divorce from Meghan in 2017.

Last year, amid a messy custody battle, Travis filed a police report against Meghan, and he accused her of keeping their kids from him. Meghan then suggested in her own documents that their children “may be living in a home where they are witnessing domestic violence.”

Meghan also brought up Gina’s 2019 DUI arrest, saying, “I am concerned about Gina’s behavior and drinking. She received a DUI in 2019 where she lost her driver’s license.” But ultimately, she and Travis agreed to share joint custody of their three kids in 2022.

Also in 2022, Travis was granted a criminal protective order against Meghan, which required her to stay at least 100 yards away from Gina and his children, after Meghan was charged with misdemeanor battery due to an October 2021 encounter between them.

One year later, however, Travis claimed Meghan violated that order by arriving in his neighborhood in August. At that point, he called the police on her, and she was taken into custody before being released hours later.

Following the reported violation, Travis filed his most recent set of court documents, stating, “Meghan was arrested for violating a criminal protective order, protecting me from her. She has also threatened me and my family, and has engaged in a campaign of harassment, unwanted contact, attempted extortion, and threats of harm if I do not comply with her demands.”

He also told the court he needs the order of protection “because I am fearful that, in its absence, she will continue to harm and harass me and our children because she has continually and is increasingly harassing and harming me, even with a criminal protective order in place,” and he noted that her behavior has created a “dangerous environment for our children and me.”

Travis went on to allege that Meghan has shared a number of posts on Instagram that suggest she could kill herself, and she shared other posts that called out him and Gina with “disparaging and untrue comments.” He even claimed Meghan accused them of being abusive to their kids.

“I am fearful of Meghan’s harassing behavior and threats directed by her to me,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, in her own court documents, Meghan fought back, with her lawyer stating that she was in Travis’ neighborhood because their children go to school nearby, and noting that there has been no evidence of potential harm toward Gina.

Ultimately, a judge granted Travis’ request for a temporary restraining order for him — and him only — as they set a hearing for December in which a decision will be made in regard to whether or not the restraining order should be made permanent.
