Well, on the latest episode of Keeping Up With Will and Jada, Will Smith gives a response to his wife Pinkett Smith’s bombshell revelations about their marriage in her new memoir, “Worthy.”
In an email to The New York Times, from a profile on Pinkett Smith, the Oscar-winning actor says the book, which is set to be released on Oct.17, “kind of woke him up.”
“When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in,” Smith wrote. “And you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.” Smith added that her truth bombs “kind of woke [him] up,” but noted that the “Girls Trip” actress was actually more“resilient, clever, and compassionate than [he’d] understood.”
Will also recently reacted to all the internet talk following Pinkett Smith’s shocking revelations. He made an Instagram post appearing to be unbothered and relaxed. He captioned it, “Notifications off.” Jada also responded under his comment section with laughing emojis.

As we previously reported, Jada finally honest details about where she and Will really stand after years of rumors about their relationship. She shockingly admitted that they’ve been separated for SEVEN YEARS despite appearing as a united front to the public since 1997. In an interview with Today’s Hoda Kotb on Oct. 11, the Matrix actress said the separation began in 2016. They decided to “live separately” from each other.
Although divorce is something they haven’t really considered, Jada Pinkett Smith said, “We’re still figuring it out. We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”
Aside from their relationship, Jada also gave her reaction to Will’s infamous Oscars Slap moment where he shocked Chris Rock in the face for joking about her alopecia. She said,
“I thought, ‘This is a skit.’ ” Like many people watching the incident unfold on live TV, she didn’t believe it was real at first. “I was like, ‘There’s no way that Will hit him,’ ” Jada, recalled. “It wasn’t until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realized it wasn’t a skit.”
Despite what unfolded, Jada wrote in her new book “I’m going to be by his side. But also allow him to have to figure this out for himself.”
