Looks like the Marvel Cinematic Universe has some “bad blood.” A new rumor has seemingly revealed Taylor Swift’s role in Deadpool 3, and it’s not what anyone was expecting!
Rumors of Taylor Swift in Deadpool 3 have dated back months. The earliest reports suggested she’d play Lady Deadpool, a female variant of the titular Merc with a Mouth. More recently, Marvel rumors have hinted at her role as the mutant Dazzler. Yet the newest one by Hollywood insider MyTimeToShineHello suggests she’ll be playing an even more famous character: Herself.
While it may be disappointing to X-Men fans that Taylor Swift isn’t playing Lady Deadpool or Dazzler in Deadpool 3, this development is probably for the best. After all, any fan of Swift probably wouldn’t enjoy seeing her killed during her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. Maybe we’ll even get a duet with Hugh Jackman!

Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.
