Madison LeCroy wasn’t shocked by the news of Austen Kroll and Taylor Ann Green‘s alleged hookup.
As Austen, 36, and Taylor’s relationship continues to be a hot topic on Southern Charm, Madison, 33, explained why she predicted it as she also addressed husband Brett Randle‘s addition to the show, shared where she stands with Olivia Flowers, 31, and Venita Aspen, 29, revealed if she’s still in touch with Kathryn Dennis, 32, and explained her pregnancy fears.
“I am still nervous. That’s something that I’ll just have to wing it and pray for the best,” Madison said during an October 8 interview with Us Weekly. “They’re not gonna give me the option to [have a natural birth].”
After noting that she suffered a pelvic fracture during labor with her son Hudson, Madison said the experience was “awful.”
“It was totally worth it and I think that might be another reason I’m so obsessed with Hudson, because I’m like, ‘You know how much it took to get you here?’” she shared.
While she and Craig Conover, 34, have had their moments, the two of them are in a great place today, and Madison has enjoyed getting to know his girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, 30.
“I think I love Craig more now that he has Paige. I’m on board with this version of Craig,” she admitted, adding that she hopes Paige will eventually move to Charleston.
“It will be nice to have another housewife out there,” she noted, also stating, “Let’s start [Real Housewives of Charleston].”
As for Kathryn, who left the show ahead of season nine and amid custody drama with ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel, 61, who now has full custody of their two kids, Madison said, “She’s doing well.”
“She’s doing good. We try to get lunch. Our schedules haven’t lined up but I’m sure we’ll get together soon,” she revealed.
Madison is also in a good place with both Venita and Olivia.
“I never wanted to feel like there was bad blood between us so I’m happy that we can just move on and get over it,” she noted of Venita.
And speaking of Olivia, Madison said, “[She] really shocked me this year. I didn’t realize how witty and funny she was. She has a dry sense of humor. I love her.”
Moving on to Taylor, Madison suspected she’ll never be truly over her relationship with Shep Rose, 43.
“I think that Shep is gonna be one of those, maybe one of her first loves, I guess, so I don’t know if she’ll ever really be able to get over that,” she shared.
While Taylor has denied hooking up with Austen, signaling to the fact that she may have a different definition of the phrase, Madison said that when it comes to the possibility of their encounter being nothing more than a kiss, she isn’t quite sold.
“They had this conversation with their parents about whatever, kiss… Seems a little more to me. I don’t know if we’ll ever find out the truth. I still have a lot of questions. Thank God we have a reunion,” she stated.
Years after moving on from her own relationship with Austen, Madison said she believes her ex has girl problems because he’s simply not ready to settle down.
“I think he’s still enjoying his early years of life,” she suspected. “I don’t think he has any rush to go and start a family.”
During an earlier episode of Southern Charm, Austen was seen attending a wedding celebration in honor of Madison and Brett. And while it looked quite awkward to viewers, Madison said it actually wasn’t for her and her husband.
“Austen hit us with a little bit of humor, thank goodness, so it sort of cut the tension,” she recalled, confirming he gifted the two of them “a bottle of champagne.”
As fans well know, Brett, who travels for work, which keeps things “fresh” between them, stayed away from the cameras for the first part of his relationship with Madison, but he opted to join filming during season nine.
“[I] was like, ‘Listen, I hope I don’t embarrass us but things can get a little rowdy,’” she told him. “The guys actually really love Brett and wanted to bring him into the circle, but I was like, I don’t think that’s gonna happen. We are [keeping some distance there].”
Madison is also keeping some distance between herself and Taylor.
“We’re friendly. I don’t trust her but sure, she’s cute,” she laughed.
Continuing on, Madison recalled sharing her thoughts on a potential hookup between Austen and Taylor at last year’s reunion.
“I was the first one to literally say, ‘This is what’s happening. Accept it or not but they’re into each other,’” she revealed. “Who cries when their boyfriend and them fight? Why was Austen crying over Shep and Taylor’s drama back last year? I knew.”
Southern Charm season nine airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
