Last night, Green Day played an intimate show at Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas ahead of their headlining set at When We Were Young, and they shared big news.

The punk vets will go on a stadium tour with the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and the Linda Lindas in 2024 — and it seems like it’ll be epic. The announcement came after the band played the entirety of Dookie, the record that launched Green Day into the mainstream and altered the trajectory of their careers. In terms of influential ’90s albums, it’s right up there with Nevermind and OK Computer, and next year, the band will celebrate its 30th anniversary with their peers and successors.

Following the news, Green Day unveiled the first song from their upcoming album called “The American Dream is Killing Me.” They also played a mix of cuts from Insomnia. American Idiot, Warning, and more.
