A24 has the first movie poster for the upcoming wrestling drama The Iron Claw, and it comes with the tagline, “Sons. Brothers. Champions.” The poster features the Von Erich brothers embracing in the wrestling ring. This is a movie I’ve been very interested in watching, and I imagine we’ll get a trailer soon.

The movie stars Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, and Holt McCallany. The film is a biographical film about the wrestling dynasty that was the Von Erich family and their tragic story. The story follows “the rise and fall of the family dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day.”

In the film, Efron plays Kevin Von Erich, White portrays Kerry Von Erich, Dickinson plays David Von Erich, McCallany plays Fritz Von Erich, and in the film, as brothers had to battle inside the ring, outside they were plagued with a series of tragedies that became known as the “Von Erich curse.”

The movie was written and directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) and it also stars Lily James (Downton Abbey, Yesterday, Pam & Tommy) as Kevin’s wife Pam, and Maura Tierney as the family’s matriarch Doris.
