Some concept art has surfaced that was created for the live-action version of the Star Wars Rebels character Zeb for The Mandalorian Season 3. Fans expected the character to show up in the Ahsoka series, but we never saw him, which was a bit of a disappointment.
I have no idea why Zeb wasn’t involved, but my guess is that the budget for the CGI work to bring him to life for an extended period of time was too high.
The art you see here was created by concept artist Aaron McBride and the finished version that we saw of the character in The Mandalorian was awesome! Original voice actor Steve Blum reprised the role and voiced the live-action version of the character.
While we didn’t see the character in Ahsoka, hopefully he shows up again at some point and is able to reunite with his friends.
