Scallops are always the culprit!
With it being Hell’s Kitchen Season 22, you would think that the contestants would have a better grasp on how to make one of the signature dishes of the series, but alas, it still eludes them.
It’s one of many notable things during an all-new Hell’s Kitchen. TV Fanatic scored another hot clip of Hell’s Kitchen to our, and hopefully your utter amusement.
TV Fanatic scored another hot clip to our and, hopefully, your utter amusement. And this time around, it involves the Red team.
The Red Team has been doing well for the most part this season. We’ve seen some strong chefs on that side.
And they’ve won a few challenges that gave them some advantages.
However, their biggest issue is the dinner service.
Once they get to dinner and the kitchen chaos ensues, it’s as if all the flaws of the Red team are put under a spotlight.
Sometimes, the women struggle to communicate with each other or work alongside one another for the team’s betterment.
Some of the chefs who showed the most promise will crumble under the pressure and fast-paced of dinner service, and suddenly, things they thought they could cook and present well become their shortcomings.
We saw a bit of that during Hell’s Kitchen Season 22 Episode 4.
Fortunately for the Red Team, they did well enough to be safe, prompting the Blue Team to put up two members of their team, which resulted in the elimination of Mattias.
But will the Red Team’s luck run out? Our clip teases that there’s a slight issue on the Red Team, but hopefully, it’s not something they won’t be able to bounce back from.
The synopsis of the installment teases the return of the Surf & Turf reality challenge.
It’s a Hell’s Kitchen staple, and things will get messy and competitive with this challenge.
The contestants must taste and guess proteins promptly, which sounds simple enough but almost always proves challenging.
The winning team will get some more quality time with Gordon Ramsay.
They’ll get to hang out with him and do some ax-throwing, which will be pure entertainment like no other.
And the losing team? They’ll have to break down whole salmons for the dinner service.
Talk about something fishy with that challenge!
It sounds like a funky punishment that could impact the dinner service in the long run.
And as the American Dream theme continues, we’ll also get a couple of celebrity judges.
Splitting things up so that we’ll have a famous person on each kitchen’s side, we can anticipate appearances by Paula Abdul and Dolph Lundgren.
In our sneak peek clip, we catch a happy-go-lucky Chef Sandra.
She’s determined to make the perfect scallops in hopes of impressing Ramsay.
She gets a lot of encouragement from her teammates along the way while she’s cooking and hoping to get the scallop dish up promptly.
Sandra is hyping herself and her scallops up, even going as far as referring to them as “sexy.”
But there’s only one problem with all of that. She may have overcooked them.
To Sandra’s disappointment, the coloring is definitely off, and Ramsay is not pleased with the results.
Ramsay’s annoying enough to use it as a teachable moment for the kitchen.
So much for impressing Ramsay, right?
But will this incident put Sandra in the hot seat or, worse yet, get her out the door?
We’ll have to see!
