The local health department investigated the fast food restaurant after former employee Jennifer Legear shared an image of the shift manager giving a haircut to the general manager before a lunch rush on Facebook. Legear’s post went viral on the social media platform, and a complaint was filed by the Howard County Health Department, leading to a visit. According to the Daily Mail, a spokesperson from the fast food restaurant did not release a statement about the incident, and the inspection results were not released.
Before sharing the photo on Facebook, Legear sent it to her friends on Snapchat, but one of them posted it on their social media page and was fired for sharing the photo. She explained to WTHR13 that she noticed the employee getting a haircut three feet from where the food is made.

‘I noticed that two of them pulled out cutting shears and were putting on a trash bag, and I was like, “That is interesting”. Then, they sit down and start cutting hair in the back.”
Legear also explained why she was fired after publicizing the image on her Facebook page and claimed one of her supervisors asked why she posted the photo online. “Well since I already got fired for it, because it somehow got leaked after sending it to just a few people and it making the people pictured BIG mad. (The GM in the chair and a shift manager doing the cutting). Who knew you could pull up to your local TB and get a taco and a haircut!’,” she wrote in the post.
‘Things I heard when I was approached about taking this:”if you had a problem with it you should have said something’ erm… Nope. Cuz it shouldn’t have been happening
”why did you even take a picture and post it’ cuz I can and I thought it was f*g weird. I didn’t post it. I showed like five people. What they do with it is on them. If you didn’t want people to see, don’t do it?
”I work a set schedule and don’t have time to go get my hair cut’ well… That sounds like a you problem.”roll your eyes at me one more time… Omg I’m gonna slap you’ (I don’t think she thought I heard this one lol)”you know what, you can just take your “I don’t care’ and leave. And that my friends is how I got fired from Taco Bell.’
The health department said in a statement that it has discussed the complaint with management, and it was inspected for compliance with the State Food and Cod 410 IAC 7-24 and Howard County Ordinance.
