There has been a lot of chatter about Daniel Radcliffe taking up the claws as Wolverine in the MCU. Recently, Radcliffe spoke about his potential role while hooked up to a lie detector.
Daniel Radcliffe has long topped the list of actors that might replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the MCU. With the actor recently bulking with no apparent reason to do so, many have speculated that he may make an appearance sooner rather than later. However, according to Radcliffe, he’s getting buff for no particular reason:
“I got buff because I am obsessive, and I want to…you’ve seen my parents,” Radcliffe told Vanity Fair in their lie detector series. “They’re like insane fitness people. So that’s just been passed on…but no, no Wolverine. Flattered, but no.”
Most of the rumors about Daniel Radcliffe’s MCU role stem from a Deadpool 3 rumor about Ryan Reynold’s Merc with a Mouth traveling through the multiverse to kill popular Wolverine fancasts portrayed as variants. It would make sense given insiders have teased Radcliffe’s casting in the film, but nothing is currently confirmed.
