Lil Durk‘s success can be easily quantified by his record sales and streaming numbers, but his outfits recently have also spoken to his stardom.
On Wednesday (October 25), the Chicago MC headlined a concert during Morehouse & Spellman College Homecoming in Atlanta, Georgia. He was spotted wearing Louis Vuitton gear from head to toe that he claims cost him a whopping $40,000.
In a new video of the 31-year-old at the event, the filmer told Durk to let viewers know that “there’s levels to this shit,” to which he responded, “They know!”
In an Instagram post of his own, the drill titan showed off his pricey getup with the caption: “Money is the root of all evil durk I mean smurk be in the trenches with his people [goat emoi].”

On the music side of things, Durk and Kid Cudi joined forces last month on a new joint single titled “Guitar In My Room.”
The track is part of Lyrical Lemonade’s 10th anniversary rollout, which was celebrated with a show in early October at The Shed in Chicago.
“I was takin’ all prescriptions, them drugs/ I wanna ask for your permission, don’t judge,” Durkio raps on the opening verse. “Before you ever get a job, get a gun/ Gotta hit a thousand girls before you fall in love.”
Cudder closes out the song, crooning: “Soakin’ up your glory days slow/ If there’s problems, I’ll solve ’em, no lie/ You never had a n-gga catchin’ all the signs/ It’s time, baby, lost in the lights!”
“Guitar In My Room” will be featured on Lyrical Lemonade’s upcoming compilation album, which is expected to arrive soon. The track is the second song released from the project, following “Doomsday” in June which featured the late Juice WRLD and Cordae.
In a behind-the-scenes video uploaded on YouTube in April, director Cole Bennett revealed that the album would have 16 songs in total, and that he plans to release a video for each one of them.
