Deadpool 3 is set to feature faces from all across Fox’s X-Men franchise in one final farewell. A new rumor teases the return of a fan-favorite villain from the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
While there have been plenty of rumors about which heroes will appear in Deadpool 3, there has been mostly silence on any villains outside of the main antagonist. This pattern is broken with the newest rumor by Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman suggesting that one of the most beloved members of Fox’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Toad, will appear in the upcoming film.
It’s not clear which version of Toad will appear in Deadpool 3, be it the Brotherhood of Mutants member played by Ray Park in X-Men, the Vietnam War veteran played by Evan Jonigkeit in X-Men: Days of Future Past, or a new version of the villain with a new actor. Either way, the film seems to be hopping toward a true celebration of Fox’s era of mutants!
